Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas - smashed!
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- OPTIONAL: Add walnuts for great taste!
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
- 2. With a wooden spoon, mix melted butter into the mashed bananas in a large bowl.
- 3. Mix in the sugar, egg and vanilla.
- 4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour and mix.
- 5. Pour the mixture into the buttered 4x8 in loaf pan and bake for an hour. Cool on rack.
